Working in this forward thinking global B2B software / technology firm you will be tasked with developing and implementing deal pricing and offering commercial advice.

The EMEA Sales team will rely on you to achieve their business plans and ensure that profitable decisions have been made around their product offerings.

Your skills in new market programmes and strategy will ensure their brand and commercial planning decisions deliver fully in line with business expectations.

Your foresight and experience will give you the ability to help set the right pricing levels and package offerings with their EMEA client base. You will use your experience helping to set out innovative package offerings to attract new clients and maintain existing clients. Your deal pricing background will help inspire confidence and loyalty with clients and set the benchmark for future deal offerings.

This is an environment with lots of moving parts. It is therefore important that you are able to engage a thoughtful approach to deal planning. This is not a quick ‘deal by deal environment’, you will need to be able to work on multiple engagements up to board level in a matrix business with a clear sense of corporate governance and audit trail.

This is the perfect time to join a business where you can very much put your own stamp on things. They are about to launch a raft of new products which you will be heavily involved with taking to market.

You will be used to working with a sales team, understanding the sales cycle and giving them the best ideas to be able to increase their profitability. The position will require a strong level of commercial common sense. You be able to demonstrate that you can build the trust of a sales team and be used to working in a negotiation led environment.

You will also be used to facing off to clients, working on deals with them perhaps directly and gaining their faith.
You will clearly need to possess a natural competency with numbers and be able to use this to spot opportunities for potential growth (yield opportunity identification) and revenue increase, as well as pricing existing products in a competitive and appealing manner.

This is a very influential position which faces off to the senior leadership team. It is therefore critical that you are able to manage stakeholders across multiple departments (marketing, operations, sales). Your decisions and ideas will be relied upon to help set the product and pricing strategy in this B2B environment. You will have developed proven, robust analytical and numerate skills that wield results.
