Trustly appoints CCO from Société Générale and Director of Sales from Klarna Group

Trustly, the pan-European FinTech company providing fast, simple and safe online payment solutions, today announces the appointment of Johan Nord as Chief Commercial Officer and Luca G. Giannone as Director of Sales - Financial Services. Both will be instrumental in Trustly’s ambitious plans to expand in Europe and cement the company’s place as a disruptor and innovator in online banking payments.    

Johan Nord, formerly a Director at Société Générale Corporate and Investment banking department, has been appointed as the new Chief Commercial Officer. Johan has 10 years of international experience in strategy consulting, private equity and banking, focusing on Nordic and UK financial services sectors. Johan holds an MBA from INSEAD where he was recipient of Tekn. Dr. Marcus Wallenberg Scholarship for International Enterprise studies. He has a M.Sc. in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.  

Luca G. Giannone has been appointed as Director of Sales - Financial Services. He started his career in the payments sphere through Digital River, one of the biggest e-Commerce outsourcers in the world. He went on to hold executive positions at ClickandBuy and SOFORT, part of the Klarna Group, building teams around Product Management as well as direct and indirect sales. Luca has built SOFORT’s PSP program from ground up and contributed to the overall success of Online Banking epayments by being a vocal evangelist. Luca holds a double degree in Business Administration and International Business from Accadis and Florida Atlantic University.
