Third Financial has partnered with Channel Islands firms DPZ Capital and Itex allowing them to deliver Tercero as a Cloud service.
Jersey based DPZ Capital; an independent asset manager, uses Tercero for portfolio management, CRM, Compliance, Online Investor Portal and Client Reporting.
DPZ has become the first Jersey based firm to move from an onsite deployment of Tercero to the new, hosted platform and has been live on the new service for seven months. DPZ moved its entire technology envelope including Tercero to the Itex Cloud on 1st August 2012.
‘’Having all of our technology including our core application Tercero, hosted with Itex, gives DPZ a stable, secure and resilient cloud based service. This technology allows us to manage the business in a scalable way, as our business develops.” says Tim Jones, COO of DPZ Capital.
“Tercero’s stability, functional capability and flexibility match DPZ’s requirements very well. Tercero is a fundamental cornerstone to our business delivering increasing efficiencies and controls that support our dynamic business model,” says Tim Jones.
Head of Sales at Itex, Gary Strickland-Clark, commented, “In outsourcing all its IT infrastructure and support, DPZ Capital has taken huge strides forward in its operational maturity. This is vital not only from the point of view of service quality and competitive advantage, but also as a business with obligations to the financial regulator."
"By taking advantage of the industrial strength systems and professional support capabilities, tech-savvy small businesses are punching way above their weight by adopting a more modern operational model. Many companies still running their own IT fear outsourcing would lead to the loss of control and uniqueness, but by combining cloud service and their critical core application DPZ and Thirdfin have worked brilliantly with us to provide one of the best asset management operational models in the offshore market.”
“The three way partnership with Itex allows us to provide DPZ with an assured and robust hosting service for the application suite. It enables further delivery of Tercero as a Cloud service to our growing client base in the Channel Islands and onshore.” says Andy Milne, Client Services Director.
