29 April 2013

Nadra Bank has signed an agreement with Compass Plus, an international provider of electronic payments and retail banking software to processors and financial institutions, which will allow the bank to significantly enhance the functionality of its Internet banking solution, as well as launch new products and services to the market.

One of Nadra Bank’s key projects is the development of remote customer services. To enable this, the bank has already implemented Internet banking for individual customers built on TranzWare Internet Banking from Compass Plus. “The implementation of new payment tools for the bank’s customers will allow the fast and secure management of personal finances, with customers able to access and manage their accounts 24/7 – 365 days a year. This functionality will enable Nadra Bank customers to make online payments to friends, relatives, etc., provide access to their savings and deposit accounts, and give them round-the-clock monitoring of the account’s use by family members and others authorized to do so,” said Sergey Kozlov, director of the Nadra Bank’s retail department. “In addition, customers will have access to their funds by means of a payment card and the ability to manage limits.” The system is currently undergoing pilot tests before it becomes available to all Nadra Bank customers.

The bank has also prioritized the certification of an EMV bank card issuance program, including the certification of contactless interfaces for Visa payWave and MasterCard PayPass cards. The bank has already signed an agreement with a university in Kiev to implement a project based on Nadra Bank contactless cards which will combine financial services with university services.
