Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation showcases Irish Success
Information Mosaic will host a visit by 55 senior officials from EU Member States and the European Commission in Dublin ahead of the St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
The officials will be attending a meeting of The European Trade Policy Committee (Services and Investment) which is being hosted in Dublin by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, as part of Ireland’s Presidency of the European Union.
Information Mosaic, a highly successful financial software company with operations spanning Europe, America and Asia Pacific, has been chosen as the company to visit to give Committee members an opportunity to see and hear first-hand the opportunities and challenges facing an EU company doing business in countries outside the EU, in particular, in countries with which the EU is currently negotiating or about to start negotiation on Free Trade and Investment Agreements.
Enterprise Ireland’s Vanessa Barcroft explains the selection: “Information Mosaic is a client of Enterprise Ireland and an excellent example of the type of Irish company successfully growing their business in export markets. It is a robust service business with a strong, growing international footprint and an impressive blue-chip client list”.
John Byrne CEO of Information Mosaic commented, “We opened our doors in Ireland some 17 years ago. Over that time we have worked tirelessly to expand and grow our operations to service a blue-chip international customer base. This has meant that from very early on we have had to work across geographic boundaries to deliver our services. Our close relationship with Enterprise Ireland and the government has helped us to reach our position today at the very fore of international financial software.”
