eTrading top of the agenda for Open GI and leading insurers

12 March 2013

Open GI has announced that its CII accredited Product Clinics will be brought to brokers in association with a number of leading insurers including Ageas, Allianz, AXA, Groupama, NIG and RSA throughout England and Wales in 2013 to promote Commercial Lines’ eTrading.

Brokers attending the free, one-day events, will be able to learn from insurers how eTrading for Commercial Lines can bring them tangible benefits over manual methods and answer any questions that brokers may have. Brokers will also be able to learn about System Security and make the most of their Open GI system.

Accredited by the CII, the events are worth 4 hours and 15 minutes worth of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits to delegates that attend.

Jason Bridgman, Head of eCommerce - Commercial, AXA Commercial Lines, said: “On behalf of the insurers supporting the Product Clinics, I am delighted that they will be in attendance to discuss with brokers, the real benefits of using eTrading for Commercial Lines. I am sure that after these events, many brokers will appreciate the cost-efficiency savings that eTrading can bring, to allow them to operate more effectively.”

Simon Hughes, Sales and Marketing Director, Open GI, commented: “eTrading for Commercial Lines is now becoming the expectation in the market to simplify the quote and buy process, and afford brokers a competitive advantage. To have leading insurers supporting the Product Clinics will benefit the overall experience of the delegates.”
