Serisys is based in Hong Kong with offices in Tokyo, Shanghai and Singapore and provides IT and systems integration services to the capital and banking markets in Asia.
The agreement allows Serisys to exclusively develop Solace's hardware-based middleware products business for domestic financial services providers in Japan.
"Financial firms in Japan are experiencing more demanding requirements for performance and reliability, pushing existing systems to their limits," said Kent Nash, regional vice president, Asia Pacific at Solace Systems. "Working with a visionary firm like Serisys improves our ability to bring the benefits of middleware appliances to leading financial firms in one of Asia's most important markets."
"We are delighted to offer Solace's solutions in Japan," said Shun Watanabe, general manager of Serisys Japan. "We believe that hardware solutions are the next wave in the messaging solution lifecycle, and Solace offers all the benefits of traditional software-based messaging with much better performance and scalability."
