Sales Collaboration Platform Reaches 20,000 Participating Insurance Carriers and Brokers; Company Expands Product Line with Announcement of InsiderConnectâ„¢

ProspX, Inc., developer of the first on-demand enterprise search and sales collaboration platform for the commercial insurance industry, today announced a record number of carriers and brokers currently connecting and collaborating online via the platform. At the close of 2010, there were 4,000 brokers and more than 16,000 carrier underwriter specialists represented in the ProspX network. Additionally, the company continued to build on the successful adoption of its collaboration platform with the announcement of InsiderConnectâ„¢, a unique electronic marketing offering and the first of its kind in the industry.

The launch of InsiderConnect in December marked the introduction of the industry’s first electronic marketing solution to aggregate and deliver opportunity specific content via a custom generated newsletter to a producer’s e-mail inbox. The information can then be easily shared with prospects and clients – a vital tool to help the producer build credibility and strengthen their relationships. The patent pending technology performs this while maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of the producer’s pipeline. The platform also makes is possible for business partners such as carriers and wholesalers to target their updates to the producers working on specific deals, elevating their key differentiators and increasing their chances of gaining more producer mindshare.
