Financial Tradeware integrates latest Bloomberg API’s and Data Licenses into Ultra.Net and H-Fund trading applications

Financial Tradeware, provider of Portfolio and Fund Management solutions for the funds industry today announced that it has successfully fulfilled the technology requirements of Bloomberg in integrating real-time Bloomberg Desktop API and Bloomberg Server API static data with its Ultra.Net and H-Fund products. Front office users may benefit from real-time pricing updates, where streaming pricing data is accessed via the Bloomberg Desktop API. Intraday Security Additions are requested via Bloomberg Server API, and End of Day pricing updates are performed via Bloomberg Data License.

Entitlement security verifies the identity of users requesting data, and Financial Tradeware applications have implemented tight compliance rules controlling the distribution of data.

Our industry is built on access to real-time information in the front office, and underlying data which is invaluable to middle and back office operations. While we had already built primary interfaces with Bloomberg as our preferred pricing data supplier, we wanted to enhance our application capabilities in the areas of reporting and data distribution‛.
