Bloor Research Names Datanomic as Data Quality Market Leader for Ease-of-Use

26 May 2009

Philip Howard, Research Director at independent analyst house Bloor Research, has published two new Market Update reports looking at data cleansing and data quality platforms. Each of the reports considers the merits of more than a dozen leading software suppliers based on their functionality and their speed and simplicity of deployment. The extensive capabilities and easy configuration of Datanomic’s dn:Director has led Howard to place Datanomic in the prized ‘innovator’ sector and concludes the Data Quality Market Update report by saying that "for ease of use, Datanomic is probably the market leader."

“We are delighted to receive industry analyst recognition as an ‘innovator’ for our award winning dn:Director platform,” said Dr Jonathan Pell, CEO of Datanomic Ltd. “It backs up what our customers are telling us - that dn:Director leads the market in terms of functionality and ease-of-use. Thanks to our focus on delivering real business benefits and our user friendly approach for data stewards and business users, we are continuing to experience growth and market expansion. Datanomic has one of the largest R&D teams dedicated to data quality and integration solutions, and we will continue to lead through innovation of the dn:Director platform and business-driven solutions for our customers.”

The Bloor Research reports also recognise Datanomic’s strong market leadership, particularly within the telecommunications sector based on global customers such as Deutsche Telekom, BT and Vodafone all adopting the dn:Director platform.

Datanomic’s award-winning data quality solution, dn:Director, provides a single, unified platform that enables both business and IT personnel, such as data stewards, business analysts and owners of data, to identify and rectify compromised data throughout the organisation. By providing customers with the ability to create an effective single view, comply with industry regulation, and implement successful business improvement initiatives, dn:Director helps to ensure organisational data is fit for business use. The latest version, dn:Director 7.2 (due for release in July) features a role-based, tailorable user interface to allow organisations to configure their solution to their own working practices.
