Unica enhances capabilities for On-Demand marketing operations solution

Unica Corporation (Nasdaq: UNCA), a leading global provider of enterprise marketing management (EMM) software, today announced new enhancements for its on-demand marketing resource management (MRM) solution, Marketing Central. Highlighted by a new Markup tool and improved ease of use, the latest version of Marketing Central expands collaborative features to improve processes for the many thousands of marketers using Marketing Central to manage hundreds of projects every day.

As a large percentage of today’s marketing projects include an online element such as a landing page or micro-site, Marketing Central helps an organisation’s web and traditional marketing departments collaborate enabling them to more quickly and effectively manage reviews, feedback, and approval processes, ultimately building a better workflow. The end results are fewer review cycles, more consistent messages, less mistakes, and reduced rush charges for both on and offline campaigns.

Marketing Central’s new functionality is entirely browser-based and requires no plug-ins, making it more reliable and cost-efficient for marketers to use. The solution enables marketers to quickly and easily markup any type of content—from PDF files for print work and native HTML to MPEGs and other video formats.
