Europeâs foremost supplier of integrated document management, workflow and archive solutions has today announced a new partnership with Scanned and Delivered, an online document scanning and retrieval service provider. EASYâs world class document management and workflow technology has been selected to underpin the Scanned and Delivered range of Internet-based document scanning and retrieval services expanding the service to incorporate full document management and workflow capabilities.
Scanned and Delivered was founded in 2002 and offers a range of outsourced document scanning and retrieval services from document scanning and backfile conversion, to forms capture, invoice processing. Most recently the company launched a new online service offering significant benefits to organisations operating in with a distributed environment to scan and retrieve documents from anywhere in the organisation without the expense and infrastructure costs associated with buying scanners, software and retrieval workstations. Scanned and Deliveredâs Internet Imaging Suite is a service that enables organisations to scan and retrieve documents from any location they choose and typically at a monthly cost of around £150.00 per month.
Now, thanks to the new partnership with EASY SOFTWARE, Scanned and Delivered can offer its clients full document management, archive and workflow capabilities as part of their on demand document service.
âOn Demand is very much In Demand as market pundits forecast 2007 to be a huge growth year for this type of software selection and deployment,â commented Andrew Graham, CEO of EASY SOFTWARE UK. âThe benefits are staggering and the costs make real business sense at no risk. This is a great opportunity for EASY to provide the in-depth document management functionality to Scanned and Deliveredâs Internet Imaging Suite and we look forward to developing a sizeable customer following for this new service.â
Paul Barber is UK MD of Scanned and Delivered and says, âOutsourcing document scanning and retrieval to a service provider is as much the pursuit of large organisations as it is the small and medium company. The reasons are straightforward. Large companies operate in a distributed environment, i.e. across many sites and locations and it is simply unrealistic for each of those to have local scanning, retrieval and imaging workstations. At nearly £10,000 each, the set up costs could exceed £200,000 or more.â
Paul continues, âWith our Internet based, on-demand document service organisations can, for a monthly fee, have central access to scanning, archiving and retrieval with minimum software installation. We are now extending that service to encompass sophisticated document management, archive and workflow functionality from the EASY ENTERPRISE⢠suite and in doing so broadening the appeal to our customers and prospects who can benefit from scaleable enterprise level document management without the installation costs, service, maintenance and corporate headache.â
