Diebold Incorporated has announced the launch of Agilis EmPower – a flexible, open, sophisticated software platform that delivers enhanced services to customers and is the next generation technology in the company’s Agilis® Solutions family.

Agilis EmPower’s open software development tools and services change the way financial institutions connect with customers and transact business. Using EmPower, financial institutions have the flexibility to quickly react to changing retail customer needs, while also allowing them to make the most of all banking delivery channels – automated teller machine (ATM), online, branch, phone and teller.

Built on open-standards XML architecture, Agilis EmPower enables financial institutions to easily interchange customer information across all their channels, while seamlessly integrating into a financial institution’s service-oriented architecture. This access helps financial institutions serve customers better and increase efficiencies by connecting with customers on a more personal level.
