Mr. Kasaba brings to Scivantage nearly three decades of experience in financial services and other industries.
His financial-services experience covers asset management, retail brokerage, securities processing, capital markets, commercial banking, investment banking, venture capital and private equity, mortgage finance, financial guaranty, credit card, and travel related businesses. As a consultant or manager experience he advised and guided a wide variety of businesses on a broad range of issues including strategy, mergers and acquisitions, integrating acquisitions, business development, marketing, product distribution network development, profitability improvement, technology strategy and development, financial reporting and financial risk management.
Mr. Kasaba began his business career in 1978 with Arthur Andersen's consulting division, the predecessor of Andersen Consulting and Accenture. Since then he worked as a consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton, Oliver Wyman & Company, and MSI Group, a risk management consultancy he founded and ran for eight years.
As a manager, in addition to serving as the President of MSI Group, he held senior positions at FleetBoston, Societe Generale, and Warburg Paribas Becker. He holds NASD Series 7 and 63 certifications.
Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Mr. Kasaba graduated from Robert College Academy, a leading private American educational institution in Turkey. He received his BA degree with Honors from Swarthmore College in 1976, and his MBA degree from Columbia University in 1978.
