REUTERS APPOINTS HEAD OF TRADE AND RISK MANAGEMENT BUSINESS TO LEAD GROWTH

London – Reuters today announced the appointment of Andrew White as Global Head of its Trade and Risk Management business. He joins Reuters from Misys plc., where he was Chief Executive Officer within the Banking Division. White has been appointed to lead Reuters Trade and Risk Management unit with a focus on growing the business.

White has 20 year’s experience in the banking and financial services software industry. He joins Reuters from Misys plc. where he was Chief Executive Officer in the Banking Division. Prior to 2003 he was Chief Operating Officer at Marlborough Stirling plc., a software and outsourcing service provider. From 1998 to 2002 he worked in the United States, the last three years as Chief Operating Officer to Corillian Corp., a NASDAQ-listed online banking software provider to large US retail banks. From 1992 to 1998, he held various positions at Reuters in the UK and US in Sales and Business Development roles.

Andrew brings a wealth of experience to the job and I’m delighted he’s taking on this important role."

Andrew White will report to Peter Moss.
