COGENT FURTHER EXPANDS SALES & MARKETING, NAMES SEAN O'SHEA DIRECTOR - STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS

SUMMIT, NJ, September 26, 2005 - Cogent Consulting LLC, a leading provider of broker review and voting systems for institutional money managers and hedge funds, continued to expand its sales and marketing team, naming Sean O'Shea as Director - Strategic Accounts. Mr. O'Shea was the former Vice President of Sales & Operations of Financial Sockets, LLC, since 2003.

Robin Hodgkins, CEO of Cogent, said Mr. O'Shea will focus on furthering Cogent's sales of ResearchTrak(tm) to institutions and the newly introduced HedgeTrak(tm) to hedge funds. In addition, Mr. O'Shea will focus on two new strategic initiatives. He will be working with other vendors of Wall Street software and technology, to discuss the development of a third party sales channel for ResearchTrak and HedgeTrak. In addition, Mr. O'Shea will be meeting brokerage firms to explore the development of direct information feeds from sellside brokers to ResearchTrak or HedgeTrak systems used by their buyside customers, and vice versa.

From 1998 to 2003, Mr. O'Shea held increasingly responsible sales positions at leading New York City-based vendors of Wall Street software and technology, including Macgregor and Mandarin Capital Technologies. He holds a 1994 MBA from Georgia State University and a 1992 BA from Rutgers University.
