Operations Restored at New Orleans TPA Business

Retirement Strategies Group and SunGard’s Relius Team Work Together on Recovery

Jacksonville, FL, September 15, 2005 – SunGard’s Relius business unit helped New Orleans based TPA, Retirement Strategies Group, LLC to restore its business. The data protection service, Relius Recovery Services, was implemented on August 31, 2005, just two days after the storm.

Retirement Strategies Group’s participants and plan sponsor data was backed up via a high speed connection between its home office in Louisiana and Relius servers in Jacksonville, FL. Within four days of the storm, the company’s president, Bob Guidry, established a remote office in Lafayette, LA, contacted Relius Recovery Services, and restored all of its 15,000 participant records on the Relius Administration ASP. Retirement Strategies Group then communicated to all clients that it was back online and operational.

"Our staff has done a magnificent job in executing our Disaster Recovery Plan under difficult and stressful circumstances," Mr. Guidry said in a statement to clients, "and our participant and plan sponsor Web site has been functioning since September 1."
