BPS Names Gavin Terrill CTO

Toronto, Canada, September 13, 2005 - Business Propulsion Systems Inc. (BPS), a leading provider of compliance process execution solutions, has named Gavin Terrill as the company’s CTO.

Terrill, who brings more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, is responsible for leading product development, software architecture and quality assurance activities, and guiding the company's commitment to excellence in product development and vision.

"Gavin’s proven technical expertise and extensive background in product development will be a strong asset in directing the company’s research and development initiatives," said Mark Opausky, CEO, BPS. Prior to joining BPS, Terrill was a founding partner and CTO of Karora Technologies, a software development company formed in 1999 to provide enterprise collaboration and integration technologies.

Previously Terrill also served as head of R&D for LAVA Systems Inc., who was acquired by OpenText. At Lava, Terrill was responsible for creating the award winning Lava Enabler integration product.
