BURLINGTON, MA, LONDON, MELBOURNE and SINGAPORE, November 15, 2005 — Charles River Development, a leading provider of financial software and services to the global investment management community, today announced Wadhwani Asset Management has signed an agreement to implement the Charles River Investment Management System (Charles River IMS). Wadhwani will use Charles River IMS to support the portfolio management and trading operations of its asset under management. As part of the implementation, Charles River will build an interface with Tradar Portfolio system, a leading portfolio accounting solution for the hedge fund market, to provide a front-to-back-office solution.
Charles River IMS is a comprehensive front- and middle-office software suite for all security types that includes Charles River Manager for portfolio management and modelling, Charles River Trader for order management and electronic trading, Charles River Compliance for real-time pre-trade and end-of-day compliance, and Charles River Settlements for centralised post-trade processing. The system incorporates real-time FIX trading via the Charles River Network, a reliable, secure, private financial network.
