BOISE, Idaho, November 10, 2005 â ProClarity Corporation, a leading innovator of business intelligence (BI) technology, recently launched a formal corporate framework designed to support the establishment of independent, self-sustaining ProClarity User Groups around the world. The ProClarity User Group program (PUG) provides a neutral forum for the exchange of best practices regarding the use of Microsoft and ProClarity BI solutions, while also serving to facilitate end-user communications directly to ProClarity and other third party vendors.
"As companies begin to realize the enhanced BI capabilities in ProClarity 6.1 and SQL Server 2005, we anticipate the number of ProClarity User Groups around the world to experience even further growth," said Jamie Cooper, vice president of corporate marketing for ProClarity. "The PUG initiative is simply an extension of our overall mission to enable organizations to operate more efficiently and improve their bottom line through the use of ProClarity technology and resources."
The formal PUG initiative was developed to provide corporate support to independently founded ProClarity User Groups which foster the open exchange of business intelligence best practices and provide early information on ProClarity product developments and access to Beta programs.
"The ProClarity User Group not only serves as a great forum to exchange tips and tricks with fellow ProClarity users, but also as a great resource to communicate feedback and solicit information directly from the vendor," said Kathy Durfee, Florida PUG chair and CEO for TechHouse Integrated Information Systems. "The PUG initiative shows ProClarityâs dedication to the end-user organization and reflects their commitment to successful BI implementations."
Numerous resources are being offered to promote and support the increasing number of ProClarity User Groups including formal marketing toolkits, access to ProClarity product specialists and trainers, as well as product enhancement opportunities and sponsorship assistance.
"The resources ProClarity has made available make it much easier to maintain user groups and recruit parties interested in enhancing their business intelligence expertise," said James Thackrah, South Africa PUG chair and BI program manager for the Development Bank of Southern Africa. "Their support of independently established user groups is a testament to ProClarityâs customer service and dedication to client success."
