Brainpower (Deutsche Börse, Prime Standard: BPW), provider of analytic applications, technology and data management solutions to the investment management community, announces the launch of its exciting new technology for private client advisory services.
Brainpower ProActivâ„¢ supports private client advisors and relationship managers with a system to monitor actively client portfolios and market opportunities, giving them relevant investment intelligence and freeing time to deliver higher quality advisory services.
First customer for the service is the private banking arm of Italy’s BPU (Banche Popolari Unite – formed through the recent merger of Group Banca Popolare di Bergamo and Group Banca Popolare Commercio e Industria). BPU, with assets under management of more than €100 billion, will use Brainpower ProActiv™ as an integral part of its wealth advisory service.
Brainpower's management expects this contract, signed at the end of last year, to have a material impact on the company’s financial results in the fourth quarter 2003.
Brainpower ProActivâ„¢ is a solution for the automatic, proactive and systematic monitoring of events affecting portfolios, markets and financial instruments. This multi-dimensional coverage combined with powerful technology enables advisory departments to offer "mass customized" services to clients. A browser-based application, Brainpower ProActivâ„¢, monitors portfolio and market events by way of easily configured user-defined rules. These rules monitor single financial indicators or a combination of indicators, allowing for the screening of complex scenarios in markets and client portfolios. The system supports indicators of all types, including; descriptive, quantitative, technical, fundamental, estimates or user-defined.
Brainpower ProActivâ„¢ can also deliver sophisticated functionality to take immediate action as a response to events affecting portfolios, including; reporting, charting, performance and risk measurement, security screening and analysis, style and peer group analysis, and portfolio analysis and construction.
