Graham Simkins, head of trading, Singer & Friedlander, said: "We are constantly looking for ways to improve our customer service. We have built up a good relationship with Syntegra over the years, and when the new switch became available, we immediately saw the advantages of upgrading our voice trading technology. A key benefit of working with Syntegra is the one-stop-shop they provide for both system and support, which is vital for a company like ourselves."
The ITS p31 runs the latest ITS Release 15 software - allowing full remote configuration, administration, monitoring and diagnostics - and links with Syntegra's pV405Hi turrets and pVs81i speakers to offer seamless functionality and in-built business continuity throughout the enterprise.
Syntegra also provided a digital interface to a Mitel PBX, using DNPSS (Digital Private Network Signaling System) to supply both rapid digital connectivity and voicemail to the traders.
Ben Fursman, head of sales, EMEA, for trading systems at Syntegra, says: "As we are seeing time and again, in today's highly competitive market, the smaller financial institutions are as keen as the larger players to take advantage of the latest technological developments to maximise trading opportunities. It is with this in mind that we developed the ITS p31. The rapid adoption of the technology by Singer and Friedlander demonstrates their willingness to innovate to deliver the best service to their customers."
