Gothenburg, 20 November 2003 - Nordic Financial Systems (NFS), the provider of technical and business integration knowledge, today announced the expansion of its business services consultancy team in Europe, the US and Asia with the appointment of three business consultants, Puay Hong Peh, Mikael Fagerlind and Mats Eliasson.
Adding to its strong technical skill base, NFS enhances its pool of qualified consultants to offer an increased level of competence. Peh, Fagerlind and Eliasson have all joined NFS with strong treasury backgrounds and will focus on implementation services for the front, middle and back office. The three will also work with NFS' existing and future clients to offer new services, including the TMS upgrade methodology recently introduced by NFS. All three will report to Eva Andersson, Director of Services and Account Management.
Puay-Hong Peh joins NFS from Ericsson Treasury where she was responsible for setting up Ericsson's regional treasury centre in Singapore. Peh has an Honours Degree in Banking and Finance and prior to Ericsson was a risk manager at Volvo. Peh has extensive treasury experience and is specifically familiar with regulations in Singapore.
Prior to joining NFS, Mikael Fagerlind was a risk manager at ABB Financial Services, where he implemented the VaR risk model for the global treasury operations. Fagerlind's focus is toward market and credit risk analysis as well as performance measurement and modelling. Fagerlind, who worked at ABB for four years, has a degree in economics and computer science from the University of Stockholm.
Mats Eliasson comes to NFS from GE Capital Equipment Finance where he put in place models for processing and ledger reporting for statutory issues. Previously Eliasson worked at ABB where he was an expert on Trema Finance KIT, responsible for implementing SWIFT and project leader for upgrading to the e-Dealing application. Eliasson has also held positions at JP bank and Handelsbanken.
Magnus Lind, CEO, NFS, comments, "NFS has an excellent pool of highly skilled people. With the appointment of Puay Hong, Mikael and Mats we add to our already strong team of consultants. At a time when NFS is adding new names to its growing client list at a fast rate, this is a worthwhile investment."
