international provider of enterprise e-payment solutions, today announced that ANZ Banking Group (New Zealand) Limited has renewed its BASE24Â® application software licensing for a term of 5 years commencing October 1, 2003.
BASE24 provides the payments engine front end processing for all ANZ New Zealand EFTPOS and ATM network transactions. The ANZ New Zealand network comprises approximately 400 ATM's and more than 31,000 merchant EFTPOS devices.
"ANZ currently process approximately 25% of New Zealand's credit and debit card transactions, and we anticipate continued growth in transaction volumes over the next few years" said Peter Donald, General Manager - Strategic Sourcing at ANZ.
