Kapital is a recognised Polish vendor of automated foreign exchange and money marketing trading systems. The partnership agreement will enable AFA Systems to utilise Kapitalâs local contacts, knowledge and implementation expertise whilst Kapital benefits from AFA Systemsâ capability of providing a back office connection for Kapitalâs trading solutions.
John Barratt, Business Development Manager, AFA Systems said: "With Poland entering the European Union, there is a greater demand for trading in new instruments and increased levels of risk control. Banks have to consider better ways of minimising risk and improving STP. Implementing these types of changes can be expensive and the cost of replacing systems is often prohibitive. With the AFA Gateway Server, interfacing is made simpler and more cost effective, offering banks the facility to upgrade and improve as and when appropriate."
Bolesław Pilecki, Marketing Director, Kapital commented: "The AFA Gateway Server provides the ideal technology to enable us to interface our trading solutions with back office systems, like Musketeer, to deliver STP. With AFA Systems as our strategic partner, we are better equipped to offer both current and future clients a complete solution that meets their evolving requirements. We anticipate that this partnership will enable both companies to increase sales by widening its client base and product offering in Poland."
