Development & Support Engineer
The candidate will be reporting to the Customer Services Director.
Full time. From 9am to 5.30pm GMT on a Permanent contract.
Hours may need to be extended from time to time depending on the customer needs or project circumstances. The candidate will need to be flexible with working hours on occasion.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Report Analysis, Implementation and Update
Third-party software Interface Design, Implementation and Testing
Project Implementation Tasks Assistance
Customer Advisory in and around the Salmon Treasury System Platform
Customer Issue Tracking and Resolution
Help Desk Support
Knowledge & Personal Skills:
A team mentality is required as well as a positive attitude to resolving issues, organisational skills and critical thinking.
1. MS SQL Server
c. Stored Procedures
e. SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
2. Crystal reports
3. General knowledge of Windows 7/8/10
4. General knowledge of Windows Server 2008R2/2012/2012R2
5. General programming knowledge is desirable (basic programming techniques)
Experience & Education:
1. University Graduate Degree in Information Technology and/or Economics.
2. Experience with Microsoft Azure Platform
The candidate will be working in an innovative team based either in Dublin, Ireland or London, UK. The candidate we are seeking need to have Perfect English communication skills, not be adverse to customer facing communication and be flexible in learning new skills. The candidate must be willing to undergo an initial training period of 3 months in our Czech offices in Olomouc. Accommodation etc. will be provided.
