Carval continues year on year growth with 31 new customers in the last twelve months

Integrated Payroll & HR Software supplier gains BACS accreditation, improves customer service and increases development to meet market demand for integrated HR software systems

Carval Computing, a specialist supplier of fully integrated Human Resources, Payroll and Time & Attendance software has clocked up another successful year following its record growth in 2013. The company has announced another 31 new customers signed up in the last twelve months, with the Payroll Bureau growing by 46%. 2013’s staff increase of 35% has been followed with new HR development, including a restructuring of the Support Desk resulting in dramatically improved customer service. Carval has also achieved BACS accreditation for its bureau service, allowing the company to process BACS payments on behalf of third parties.

The company released the latest version 5.3, of its flagship product HR Unity in December, following the release earlier in the year of HR Unity App, now downloadable from the Apple iTunes App Store.

Carval now has over 360 customer organisations from the private and public sector, with new additions including Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Mossbourne Community Academy, Twycross Zoo, Kings College Students Union and St Christopher’s Hospice.  Carval has also seen a significant increase in new customers choosing to use its range of Payroll software, bureau, hosted and managed services. 

John Ovington, Sales and Support Director at Carval Computing stated; “We have achieved a great deal this last twelve months with our company growth and sales. This latest accreditation, along with Investors in People achieved the previous year, underlines our commitment to investing in our products and staff.

“As a result of our staff development and new HR processes our service measures have dramatically improved - we now handle 90% of customer calls within the hour against an industry standard of 81% and have reduced pending queries by 90% compared to our position in 2013. We are now working on achieving SAS 70 accreditation, an externally audited international standard for pension administration services.

“We are seeing a real increase in demand for our HR software - Time and Attendance software in particular is making a comeback as customers with mobile workforces and flexible working are looking for integrated solutions that offer staff rostering, timesheets, mileage and expenses, to help manage staff hours and productivity.”

HR Unity v5.3 features an all new Self-Service module which uses the latest technology to provide a more robust, centralised platform for supporting multiple user device types. The HR Unity App runs with HR Unity version 5.3 and has been designed for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It has features and functions for both staff and managers, complementing HR Unity desktop and web payroll, HR and T&A software solutions.
