Ullink Achieves 2 μs Latency in New Version of FPGA Risk Solution in Nasdaq's OUCH Production Environment

New York - 25 October 2011

Ullink, a global provider of low latency connectivity and trading solutions, has today announced the release of a faster version of UL IRIS+, Ullink’s FPGA pre-trade risk solution supporting OUCH protocol. The first version of UL IRIS+ supporting FIX protocol was released a couple of months ago.

UL IRIS+ enables brokerage firms to monitor trading limits in real time, set alerts on multiple criteria and to filter orders before they hit the market. With near zero latency added to your trading infrastructure, UL IRIS+ complies with industry regulations and prevents input errors and excessive risk.

Laurent Useldinger, Ullink’s CEO said: “Our global framework is now in place to deliver any protocol rapidly. Although FPGA is an expensive technology, our hybrid model allows us to obtain a lot of leverage and reusability while outperforming competition on latency.”
