Shopcreator plc acquires Equology services

In times of a steady consolidation and rationalisation within the e-business arena, Shopcreator Plc and Equology Holdings Limited are pleased to announce that Shopcreator has acquired the Equology e-commerce software, Intellectual
Property, brand, customer base and website service. Acquired for an undisclosed
sum Shopcreator has added the Equology service to its full range of portal and e-business software.
Shopcreator is an e-business portal and e-business software ASP solutions provider to public sector including One North East and Yorkshire Forward, corporates such as Safeway and Cotton Traders and to hundreds of SMEs.
Shopcreator was rated as 7 the fastest growing company in the UK by Deloitte and
Touche’s Fast 50 growing 1,877% between 1998 and 2000.
